Event Description: Leadership West Virginia, Inc. will host the 3rd annual legislative kick-off reception on January 12, 2010 following the Governor's State-of-the-State Address. The reception, which will be held in the Charleston Marriott’s ballroom, traditionally has drawn a large number of legislators, state leaders and business lobbyists as a celebration of the governor’s address and to kick-off the regular legislative session. 2010 will be no different. Governor Manchin and the First Lady, key cabinet officials, members of the Board of Public Works and legislators will be invited to the reception once again his year.
