Accident Investigation
The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with FDR Safety, a nationally recognized company that specializes in safety training, is offering a one-day workshop on accident investigation. Learn the step-by-step process of how to conduct a proper investigation from a seasoned safety pro with many years of experience in manufacturing. The
class will be highly interactive with round table and small group interaction.
In addition to being a legal and compliance issue, employee safety is necessary for protecting company resources. Proper accident / incident investigation is fundamental to your overall safety efforts. Determining root cause issues is necessary to prevent recurrence of harmful events.
The instructor will identify and explore the key components of a proper accident investigation. Whether you are in manufacturing, mining, transportation, retail, warehousing or an office environment, the same principles will apply.
At the conclusion of this one-day workshop, the attendee will be able to:
· Describe the primary reasons for conducting an accident investigation,
· Discuss employer responsibilities related to workplace accident investigations,
· Conduct a systematic accident investigation.
